2021 Hyundai Palisade

I put the Hyundai Palisade to the mom car test and overall, I’d say it ‘mostly’ passed. I toured the base model and thought this was a beautiful base. My only gripes about this car and why I don’t think it would work great for families with more than two kids in carseats is the carseat set up. You can easily fit two carseats in the second row but I really struggled with getting a carseat in the third row to fit. The third row has two lower and tether anchors but based on the placement its impossible to use them both and the location of them makes carseat installation awkward and clunky.

Trims

The Palisade comes in four different trims; the SE, SEL, Limited and Calligraphy. At the very base you can get a new 2021 Hyundai Palisade for $32,675 which, if you don’t need all the bells and whistles, is a great price for a new 7-8 passenger vehicle.
