2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country Highlights
Extended Wheelbase: 15 inches longer than the Chevy Tahoe, offering unparalleled trunk space with the third row in use.
Family-Friendly Features: Flexible seating options, exposed LATCH anchors, and excellent rear-facing car seat clearance.
Advanced Tech: Redesigned infotainment system with surround-view cameras and a heads-up display.
Premium Touches: Panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable center console, and luxurious interior materials.

Car Seat Setup
Second Row Captain’s Chairs: Each seat includes lower LATCH anchors and tether anchors, making installation straightforward.
Second Row Bench Seat: Each seat includes lower LATCH anchors and tether anchors and a three-across setup is possible, but requires planning due to limited width.
Third Row: Tether anchors are available across all seats but no lower LATCH anchors are provided.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban Exterior
The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country makes a bold first impression—it’s big, stylish, and commanding. The front has been refreshed with a unique High Country grille featuring chrome accents that give it an upscale look. Body-color mirrors add to the polished vibe, while LED headlights now include animated lighting sequences that activate when locking or unlocking the car—a fun touch that feels modern and premium.
Chevy also stepped up its wheel game for 2025. The High Country trim comes standard with 22-inch bright machined aluminum wheels painted in After Midnight for a sleek finish. If you’re looking to go even bigger and bolder, 24-inch wheels are available on select trims like the RST and High Country—perfect for those who want their Suburban to stand out even more.
This SUV is massive in every sense of the word:
Length: 226.3 inches (longer than competitors like the Ford Expedition Max and Jeep Wagoneer L).
Width: 81 inches.
Height: 76.6 inches.
Wheelbase: 134.1 inches.
The extra length translates directly into more cargo space behind the third row—making it one of the most spacious SUVs on the market. Whether you’re hauling sports gear, packing for a family road trip, or just tackling your weekly Costco run, the Suburban has room for it all—and then some.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban First Row
The High Country trim of the 2025 Suburban exudes luxury with its white-on-brown interior color scheme and premium materials. The door panels feature solid cubby storage, though they could be slightly wider to accommodate larger water bottles. The center console is a standout feature—it’s wide enough for car lunches and even power-adjustable to slide back toward second-row passengers for added convenience.
My one complaint is while the glossy black trim around the controls looks sleek, fingerprints show up constantly—a minor downside for families with kids.

Infotainment System
Chevy’s redesigned infotainment system is stunning, with a curved display that gives the illusion of a single seamless screen. Key features include:
Surround-View Cameras: Excellent for navigating tight spaces.
Heads-Up Display: Keeps essential info in your line of sight.
Physical Climate Controls: Easy-to-access buttons for temperature and fan settings.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban Second Row
The second row of the Suburban offers plenty of space and flexibility, whether you choose to go for captain’s chairs or a bench seat configuration.

Even with rear-facing car seats installed in the second row, there’s still enough legroom left for taller passengers in the third row—a rarity in full-size SUVs. I also want to point out there are ceiling vents in both rows for excellent air circulation for kids in car seats or boosters.
All that said, the major drawback of this car is the lack of a head restraint in the middle seat of both the second and third rows—a design flaw General Motors does in a lot of their cars that compromises safety for passengers seated there.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban Third Row
The third-row seating in the Suburban is really spacious, offering plenty of legroom even when the second-row seats are pushed back. This makes it ideal for families who frequently use all three rows of seating.
However, as mentioned earlier, there’s no middle head restraint here—so be mindful about who sits in that position. Also, with a lack of LATCH anchors back here, having a flexible car seat setup for a family like mine (with four kids all in car seats) is not nearly as doable as it is in the Ford Expedition MAX.
Other amenities include USB-C ports on both sides, ceiling vents for ventilation, and small cupholders for added convenience. Overall, it feels more than comfortable back here as a passenger.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban Trunk Space
The trunk space behind the third row is where the Suburban truly shines—it’s unmatched in its class! You can easily fit large strollers or multiple suitcases without having to fold down any seats.
Additional features include:
Flat-Folding Seats: Expand cargo capacity as needed.
Hidden Storage: A secret compartment under the floor adds extra utility.
If you don’t need as much trunk space but love everything else about this SUV, consider its smaller sibling—the Chevy Tahoe.
Who Is This Car For?
The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country is perfect for families who need maximum space and versatility without compromising on comfort or luxury. It’s especially well-suited for:
Large families, but those who do not need a complicated car seat setup in the third row.
Parents who prioritize cargo space behind the third row (e.g., strollers or sports equipment).
Drivers looking for advanced tech features like surround-view cameras and heads-up displays.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country: Wrap-Up
Chevy has done an excellent job balancing practicality and luxury in this latest version of their iconic family hauler. While there are some drawbacks—like missing head restraints in middle seats—the overall package is great if you need a spacious SUV with premium touches.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you’re searching for a full-size SUV that can handle everything from carpools to cross-country road trips while keeping your family comfortable and safe, the 2025 Chevy Suburban High Country is a great option.
